PEACOCK, Phoebe Curtis (Moravia NY)

PHOEBE CURTIS-PEACOCK

Identification on photo: Mrs. Phoebe Peacock
Photo taken: Tuthill & Teed, Moravia and Bolivar NY, circa 1885
Purchased: 2017 Aug Madison-Bouckville Antiques Week

These two photos were purchased at the same time and same booth as the Butler/Sears photos, and I find these are from the same family. Both are identified as Mrs. Phoebe Peacock.

This is Phoebe L. Curtis (1861-1943) daughter of Calvin J. Curtis (1827-1893) and Fidelia Church (1826-1868). She lived in Moravia NY.

In 1881 she married Jessie J. PEACOCK (1863-1933) son of John Peacock and Lavina Culley, which makes him a brother of Mary Elizabeth Peacock and therefore a uncle to Bessie Andrews who married Ralph Butler, already researched in a previous post.
