MAMIE and CHAUNCEY HARSHMAN

These charming children are Mamie Ethel HARSHMAN (1885-1939) and her brother Chauncey Earl HARSHMAN (1887-1968).

Their parents were Edgar McClellan Harshman (1863-1942) and Dora Ann Payne (1865-1890). They had another sibling named Oliver Jackson Harshman in 1889. Sadly mother Dora died in November of 1890, leaving 3 very young children with their father.

Edgar remarried Nellie Mynes around 1892 and had many more children with her.

Mamie grew to adulthood and married William Jefferson CRULL (1886-1954), and produced daughters Emma and Martha. Mamie died in 1939 at age 53.

Chauncey married Lola Edith EMERY (1895-1971) and had three sons; Chauncey Jr., Francis and William, and one daughter, Opal. Chauncey lived to age 80.
