JAMES A. BRIGGS

I believe this to be James A. Briggs (1844-1929), of Plainfield Connecticut (a town approx 6 miles north of Jewett City). He is a son of Asher Briggs and Eliza Park. He has a brother Isaac Park Briggs (1837-1906).
He was married to Annette Lewis (1849-1885), daughter of Timothy Lewis.

James Briggs died 13 Feb 1929, and is buried at the Carey Cemetery in Canturbury, Windham County, CT., and here is a link to his memorial at Find-a-Grave.
